3D embossing folders are slightly thicker than standard embossing folders, to give a more detailed three-dimensional look. The standard embossing sandwich (A plate / B plate / Embossing folder with card / B plate) doesn't work as the folders are too thick. Experiment with your machine to get the right sandwich.
We used: (from bottom up) A plate / shim / 3D embossing folder with card / B plate. Lightly mist card with water before embossing.
